Submissions

Paper submission is closed!

Forensic experts, scientists, researchers, students and other professionals are invited to submit articles for the proceeding of ICMedia 2012.
The purpose of the articles is the dissemination of scientific work related to forensic analysis of evidence in multimedia and electronic surveillance.

 

Rules for paper submission:

  1. Authors must strictly follow the conditions and deadlines established by the Technical Committee.
  2. Appropriate topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  3. The acceptance of the submitted article  grant the Organization Committee the rights of graphic reproduction in the ICMedia proceedings that will be available in digital format. Also, the author authorizes the article deposit in the event, Brazilian federal Police and Brazilian National Association of Forensic Experts websites, respectively.
  4. The authors of accepted articles will receive a registration fee waiver.
  5. The authors will receive a certificate on the end of the event.
  6. Authors whose articles have not been accepted will not receive a registration fee waiver.
  7. The completion of the registration form and abstract submission (60 words minimum, 100 words maximum) marks the beginning of the submission process.
  8. Next, the author will receive by e-mail the response from the Technical Committee on the abstract acceptance. The abstract acceptance does not necessarily imply on the approval of the article for publication in the event proceedings or  conference presentation.
  9. If the abstract of the article gets approved, the author will receive an e-mail with instructions to submit the full text article. Then the author will receive by e-mail the response from the Technical Committee on the definitive acceptance of the article, with any corrections and deadline date for the final submission of the full text article.
  10. Submited articles must be written in English or Portuguese, and have a minimum 4 and maximum 8 pages including figures, tables and references.
