The vice president of Certisign, Paulo Kulikov, reveals that the company's participation in the CertForum presentation will focus on the Electronic Signatures Portal. "It is a cloud service platform for signatures of electronic documents signed by certificates issued in the hierarchy of ICP Brazil, so with legal validity," he explains.
The platform collects electronic signatures and makes authentication of documents that need legal validity, without the need of parties involved to physically get around or go to a notary. For the new service, you can electronically sign contracts for service; buy and sell goods and property; legal documents, and all paperwork required today by governments to start a business in the country based on the standard Public Key Infrastructure (Brazilian ICP-Brazil), the "Portal of Electronic Signatures" required a investment of two million dollars to start up.
